Q:  Why do I not see the same deer on my property each time when I go to observe them?

A:   Whitetail dear have extremely large home ranges. They will travel large distances in search of food, cover and mates.  Unless the property you’re referring to is significant in size (>10,000 acres), there is a high probability that the deer may be traveling onto distant properties that are more suited to its inhabitance.

Q:  Why do bats always nest in my house?

A:  Most colonial nesting species of bats eat insects. If your home is near water, heavy vegetation or nighttime lighting, it may be near an extensive food source for bats. So  it naturally makes sense for the bats to roost near the food.
